Memphis Law Bar Application Support Award – Applications Due April 1
A 2015 graduate of the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, Marcy Walker was inspired by a fellow classmate to pay it forward. During the second half of Marcy’s 3L year, she learned that some of her classmates were struggling to find the funds to pay all of the fees necessary to take the bar exam. Marcy has set up this fund to help future individuals who cannot afford the bar application fee and other related expenses necessary to take the bar exam.
The award will cover the amount of the bar examination fee (including laptop testing fee) in your state of choice. At least one award will be given. Additional full or partial awards may also be available. The number of awards given will be determined by the committee based on available funds.
How to Apply:
The application deadline is Monday, April 1, 2019 at 5:00 p.m.

- Include your Statement of Expenses and any supporting documents you would like to include in a single PDF file. If you need assistance turning it into one larger PDF, please contact Abby Gardner at lgardner@memphis.edu for assistance.
- You can find Sample of Expenses template here (Statement.of.Expenses.Template).
- Save your file using your first name and last name as the filename of the document. Save it as a .PDF file. (Example: Suzy Student.pdf).
3. Navigate to this website and upload your PDF (SuzyStudent.pdf). Please be sure to enter your name and email address where prompted before submitting upload.
