Registration - Coming Soon - Fall Registration Coming Soon Transparent PNG - 494x312 - Free Download on NicePNGThe spring 2023 registration materials are posted on the Law Registrar’s Registration & Course Information page. Review the Course Schedule and Course Grid closely, there are revisions.

We want to thank every student who took the time to review the draft grid and provide us with feedback. We were able to revise the grid using your feedback on some things, but for various reasons, other feedback did not render change.

Please note that we were able to add Legislation. This course satisfies the statutory menu requirement for full-time students who entered in 2020 and all students entering prior to 2020 unless you opted into the new curriculum. For all other students, it is an elective. The course’s schedule maximizes availability to students for whom it satisfies a graduation requirement. We realize that the course will not be open to 2Ls in the spring given its place on the schedule; we will endeavor to offer the course again in 2023-2024.

Before registration begins November 14th, you are STRONGLY encouraged to:

  • Read the Law Registrar’s Registration Memo in its entirety.
  • Check your account for and clear Holds. Those will prevent you from registering.
  • Check to see if you need an Alternate PIN. It will prevent you from registering for classes.
  • READ THE FOOTNOTES on the last page of the Course Schedule.
  • Watch the Blog for any updates to the schedule. Though updates are unlikely, any updates will be announced via the Blog.
  • Watch the Blog for an announcement regarding advising sessions. Get an appointment and receive academic advising!
  • Bring your lunch and attend the Law Registrar’s Registration Info session with Ms. Edwards at noon in Room 326 on November 10th.
  • Ask questions about anything you do not understand.

NOTE: Seminars satisfy the Advanced Writing Requirement.  These courses are limited enrollment by design.  Students who need a seminar to satisfy the Advanced Writing Requirement have priority for seminar seats.  If you have already satisfied your Advanced Writing Requirement, you may not enroll in a seminar.  After the initial registration period ends, if seminar seats remain available, we will make the seats available and announce the change via the blog.  Note that completion of the first-year full-time curriculum is a prerequisite for enrolling in any seminar.  If you have any questions about seminar enrollment, please contact Ms. Edwards or Dean Wilson.
