New Courses Added for Fall 2019!! UPDATED!!!!!

Fall 2019 additional courses!

Remedies and Pre-Trial Litigation have been added to the Fall 2019 course list, and are now open for registration!

Both will be taught by Visiting Professor Bernard Burk. Details for both courses are below.

Remedies:

Remedies will be offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00-9:50 in Room 230.

The final exam for Remedies will be on Tuesday, December 10th at 9:00 am. in Room 127.

The required textbook for Remedies is:

Shoben, Tabb, Janutis & Main, Remedies: Cases and Problems (Foundation Press, 6th ed. 2016) (ISBN: 9781634602631)

**NOTE: Remedies will NOT be offered in the Spring 2020 semester.**

 

Pre-Trial Litigation:

Pre-Trial Litigation will be offered Tuesday from 4:00-4:50 and Thursday from 4:00-5:50 with both meetings in Room 230. This course will satisfy the Experiential Learning requirement, and is a 3 credit hour course. You will not need a permit to register for this course.

The required textbooks for Pre-Trial Litigation are:

Thomas A. Mauet & David Marcus, Pretrial (Aspen Coursebook Series, 10th ed. 2019) (ISBN: 978-1-5438-0502-4)

Any current edition of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure

Any current edition of the Federal Rules of Evidence

Case materials for our simulation will be distributed electronically unless students are otherwise notified.
