NATIONAL MOCK TRIAL TEAM: INFORMATION AND TRYOUTS

Coaches Brigid Welsh, Ashley Finch, and Katie Farley invite 2L and 3L students to try out for the Law School’s 2022-23 National Trial Team.

2021-22 Regional Competition: The National Trial Team will compete in the Regional Rounds of the National Trial Competition in February 2022.

Tryout Information:  If you have questions about the team or tryouts, please stop by the student lounge on Monday, September 12^th or Wednesday, September 14^th from 11:30am-1:00pm to meet with Coach Welsh, who was a 2-year team member as a law student and has been coaching the team for almost 10 years.

Tryout Dates and Times: Tryouts will be held Monday, September 19^th between 2:30pm and 5:30pm in the Historic Courtroom.  All the information needed to sign-up and prepare for your tryout be available on the National Mock Trial Team’s TWEN page.  Each tryout will last 15 minutes.

Registration: Interested students should register for the National Mock Trial Team’s TWEN page (2022-2023 National Mock Trial Team”) and sign-up for a tryout slot under the “sign-up sheets” tab on the TWEN page.  Once you have signed up for a tryout slot, please e-mail a current resume to Coach Welsh at Brigid.Welsh@memphis.edu.  Please register for your National Trial Team tryout before Saturday, September 17^th.
