MLK50 Keynote Luncheon at the Peabody Hotel on April 2; Student Tickets *SIGN-UP*
Dear Students:
In addition to offering students the opportunity to attend a Q&A session with Mr. Holder in the Historic Courtroom (see my previous message), we are also able to offer, without charge, a limited number of tickets for students to attend the April 2 luncheon at the Peabody Hotel (from 12:15 pm to 1:45 pm) where Mr. Holder will deliver his keynote speech. Mr. Holder will be introduced at the luncheon by Senator Doug Jones, of Alabama, our nation’s newest U.S. Senator.
If you would like to attend the keynote luncheon, please complete the form linked here by Friday, March 23rd at 5 pm. We will select students for the luncheon at random and notify all students of the results next week. We expect to be able to make 20 to 30 luncheon tickets available. Also, if you have already purchased a ticket to the luncheon and are selected to receive a free ticket, we can refund the purchase price you have already paid.
All the events on April 2 – both the keynote luncheon and the symposium itself (both of which will be held at the Peabody Hotel) – will be live-streamed to the Law School. Accordingly, students who do not receive tickets to the luncheon or have not registered to attend the symposium will still be able to view those events as they occur.
Thank you.
