SP21 Online Paid Dissertation Study

Doctoral student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice is working with Prof. Saul Kassin to complete a dissertation on the decision-making processes involved in plea bargains.

Opportunity available for 200 law students to participate in an online paid ($40) research study this Spring semester. As part of the study students would read relevant sections of the ABA’s “Criminal Justice Standards for the Defense Function” and could role-play as a defense attorney advising a mock defendant over Zoom. The first 50 students who refer other students to the study may also earn additional compensation. Recruiting through February at least.

Law students are encouraged to participate and forward this post to other classmates/colleagues. View link to recruitment letter here. It will provide further details on the study.
