EXPERIENTIAL COURSES

There are seats available in the following Experiential Courses. When combined with a Clinic or Externship, these simulation courses satisfy the Experiential Learning Requirement.  Some simulation courses require a permit from the Registrar’s office. ADR Labor meets Thursdays, 5:00-6:50p (2-credit hours)

ADR/Mediation meets Mondays, 6:00-7:50p (2-credit hours)

Legal Drafting: Litigation meets Wednesdays, 6:00-7:50p (2-credit hours)

Trial Advocacy has two sections (3-credit hours)

section 11 meets Thursdays, 5:30-8:20p and is taught by Judge Chris Craft

section 12 meets Wednesdays, 5:30-8:20p and is taught by Judge Jennifer Nichols

Appellate Advocacy will have two required meeting times. All students enrolled in this course will meet on Thursdays, 10:30-11:45a. Your second meeting time will be determined based on your schedule and the available small section meetings. See the Course Schedule for details. You can enroll yourself in this course, no permit needed. There are no prerequisites. (3-credit hours)

Tax Lawyering meets Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:00-9:50a (2-credit hours). You can register yourself for this course, no permit needed but there are prerequisites, so review those before signing up. 

SEMINARS

Health Law seminar is taught by Prof. Amy Campbell [4 seats available]

Reproductive Rights/Family Law seminar is taught by Prof. Lynda Black. [1 seat available]

Federal Discrimination seminar is taught by Prof. Steve Mulroy. [6 seats available]

Mass Incarceration seminar is taught by Prof. Demetria Frank. [1 seat available]
