Plan to graduate in May 2019? READ THIS!

On Monday, August 27, you should have received an email from Cheryl Edwards, the Law Registrar that contained information on applying to graduate.  Be sure to read it because it contained detailed instructions. Below are deadlines you should know. So, take a moment and get your phone or calendar out (or both), and flag these dates!

Step One – Complete the Graduation Checklist. The checklist was attached to your email. The deadline to complete the checklist is October 5, 2018. You will not be approved for Step Two (Apply to Graduate) until the Law Registrar’s office has reviewed and approved your checklist.

Step Two – Apply to Graduate on myMemphis. The application will open September 15, 2018, through January 25, 2019. The close date is a hard deadline, so mark your calendar.

Step Three – Diploma name, diploma mailing address and gown information. The deadline for Step three and any name change request is February 22, 2019.  Name changes can be processed through the Law Registrar’s office. See Ms. Gardner or Ms. Edwards in Room 262 on the Dean’s wing.
