***July BAR EXAM form ***

If you are planning to take the Bar Exam this summer, your application to sit for the Bar Exam should be well underway, if not complete. As part of that process, you will submit a Law Degree Verification form to the Registrar’s Office for us to complete and send to the state Board of Law Examiners.

There are 2 pieces of information you need to be aware of regarding this form:

1. Though the title says “Certificate of the Dean of the Law School,” the form does not go to the Dean’s Office; it comes directly to the Registrar’s Office. Please do not bombard the Dean’s Office with your forms! If neither Ms. Edwards nor I are in the office when you come by to drop off your forms, slide your form under my door.

2. I am leaving for maternity leave in 5 weeks (the middle of April). It is in your strong best interest to get your forms to me before that time. Though Ms. Edwards will be in the office while I am out, we would like to get as much processed as possible before I leave in order to minimize any problems that might arise.

You can click on the link at the top of this post for the Law Degree Verification Form for the TN Bar Exam (or cut and paste the link below into your search bar). Note that you need to get it notarized before you bring it to our office. You can find information about how to get documents notarized at the law school here.
