Law School Counselor

Dear Students,

The University Counseling Center continues to provide downtown counseling services to law students.  Bringing a counselor to the law school has been a multi-year collaboration among law students and administrators, and we are all excited to have a counselor available to law students in a convenient location within our building.

Confidential counseling appointments are available on Wednesdays, beginning on January 23rd. Your specific appointment time will be determined when you call to make your appointment.

Dr. David Deason is the counselor assigned to the law school.

Initial appointments are available by calling the University Counseling Center at 901-678-2068.  Recurring appointments can be made directly with Dr. Deason during your visit. Please let the counseling center know that you are a law school student, and that you would like to see the counselor at the law school.

Counseling services will continue to be available to law students at the University Counseling Center if you prefer.  You can find more information here.

Please note that our ability to keep a counselor at the law school is dependent on student utilization, so please be sure to take advantage of this resource.

If you have any questions, please contact Dean Aden.

Thanks,

Dean Aden
