Regina Thompson is the DOJ Ambassador for our school. Please read the below email from her as she will be happy to help all students:
Hi, Dean Rudolph. My name is Regina Thompson. I’m not sure if you remember me, but I am a 2016 graduate of Memphis Law. I can recall how helpful you were to me as a student trying to navigate a career in the legal profession. I am now an attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice in the U.S. Attorney’s Office and a volunteer with the DOJ Ambassador Program. In our capacity as volunteers, DOJ Ambassadors are assigned to various law schools across the country and serve as a resource for law students, graduates, and career services advisors to answer questions about our work and hiring programs. The DOJ Ambassador Program is managed through the Office of Attorney Recruitment and Management, which serves as a primary point of contact for you as well.
I am writing today to introduce myself and let you know that I am a resource for you and your students. I will keep you updated on upcoming programs and hiring seasons, and I am available to answer questions. Please share my contact information with your colleagues. Your students and graduates can find my name and email on the DOJ Ambassador website. You may hear from additional volunteers as well, and we all serve as a resource for you as well as your students and alumni.Thank you for your time, and I look forward to working with you in the coming months. For more information about the Department and our legal hiring programs, please go to our Legal Careers website.
Regards,
