FALL 2022 Schedule | Updates

Friendly Reminder for Rewards Redemption | Toluna Only veterans should have registered for Law courses today, Monday, April 4. All other students will register the week of April 11-15. Students are strongly encouraged to read the Law Registrar’s Memo. A lot of useful information is contained in the memo, including when you are allowed to register. Attempt hours do NOT include your current semester (Spring 2022) hours.  Students approved for class/testing accommodations may NOT register early, regardless of any dates listed in myMemphis or emails distributed by DRS. Have you read the Law Registrar’s Memo and still aren’t sure what day you register? Contact the Law Registrar, Ms. Edwards

A few updates have been made to Fall 2022 registration documents. Please review and let Ms. Edwards know if you have questions.

  • ADR: Mediation: A second section was added. Adjunct professor, Linda Seely will co-teach both sections with Prof. Shields. The days/times remain the same, Tuesday/Thursday from 4:00-5:50 p.m.
  • Patent Law and Land Use Law: Times were adjusted slightly to eliminate overlap between the courses, but without creating new conflicts.
  • Pretrial Litigation: The adjunct professor, Audrey Calkins’ schedule only allowed Tuesday/Thursday evenings.
  • Education and Civil Rights: Prof. Kiel’s Education and Civil Rights exam will be a take-home exam, which eliminates a conflict with the Decedents’ Estates’ exam.
  • Trial Advocacy: Dean Schaffzin’s section of Trial Advocacy had to be canceled. However, it has been replaced, but the day/time changed to Mondays, 6:00-7:50 p.m due to the adjunct professor’s schedule. The adjunct professor will be Carla Taylor.
