ML – Spring 2015 Issue

We are excited to share the third issue of our law school magazine with all of our students!

In this issue, we examine urban agriculture in Memphis and how it is changing the landscape of the city, both in terms of how Memphians eat and how the city’s “food deserts” are being improved by the urban agricultural movement. From policy reform to zoning issues, this topic has a broad reach. Our second feature story deals with ride-sharing companies such as Uber and Lyft and how these companies are influencing laws in cities across the nation, with Memphis as a prominent example.

Definitely make sure you read the new “20 Questions” feature with 20 of your fellow students (some of which have just graduated) and an interesting story about some of Memphis’ historical legal buildings, with a glimpse at our legal community’s history through architecture.
