An Evening in the Garden – MS River Park Grand Opening

The Memphis River Parks Partnership has invited the law school community to attend the grand opening of the new “River Garden at Mississippi River Park” on Friday, November 9.

The new park space and River Garden features native meadow plantings (more than 30 different types of native plants), life-sized birds nests, an events/dining pavilion and a fun, adult-sized treehouse. It’s unlike anything Memphis has seen before, especially along the riverfront. It should be a great and beautiful space for law students to take meetings, study, eat lunch, or just hang out when you need to get outside of the building.

They will host a community celebration beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, featuring a series of family-friendly activities including nature walks, food and drink, entertainment and even s’mores!
