3Ls: Postgrad Judicial Clerkship in Jackson, TN–Apply by September 30

Position: Junior Law Clerk for Tennessee Court of Appeals Judge Steven W. Maroney, based in Jackson, Tennessee.  This is a full-time, one-year position, beginning in August 2027; the precise start date is negotiable.  The position is open to students or graduates who will have taken the Bar exam by July 31, 2027. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary duties include researching substantive legal issues, preparing legal memoranda, and drafting opinions.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should possess a strong academic record, excellent research and writing skills, and high standards of integrity and professionalism.  Law Review preferred.
