The FDIC Honors Attorney Program is a highly competitive, prestigious 2-year entry-level professional development program. This program is available to current law school students graduating between December 2024 and June 2025, full-time graduate students in the final year of study that began immediately following law school, or recent law graduates completing a judicial clerkship the summer of 2025. This program is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the FDIC’s role in our financial system and an opportunity for public service. In addition, as innovative and transformative technologies are rapidly altering the financial industry, Honors Attorneys are exposed to valuable and stimulating areas of law atypical to most government practice.
The Honors Attorney Program currently has two vacancy announcements on USAJOBS (linked above) that are open until September 6th, 2024:
- Law Clerk – Open to individuals who are not yet admitted to the bar upon joining the FDIC.
- Attorney-Adviser – Open to individuals who have passed the bar and have been admitted to the bar of the highest court of a state or the District of Columbia upon joining the FDIC.
The FDIC would be grateful if you would share the information regarding these Honors Attorney opportunities with your law school community.
