Emerging Issues In Health Law CLE – Free for Students
Students: I invite you to join us at the Emerging Issues in Health Law continuing education event (for legal and health professionals) this Friday from 830-430 in Wade Auditorium. All sessions are free & open to students. Speakers include a mix of legal and medical experts in our community, who will share their varied perspectives on current and emerging areas of focus for health law, covering topics ranging from innovations in physician-hospital integration and physician contracting, to best practices in risk management, to issues raised by caring for the elderly client/patient, and to an Affordable Care Act update. Our lunch keynote speaker will be Dr. Robert Waller, President Emeritus of Mayo Health System, a world renowned health entity. We will also have a special session featuring a facilitated discussion between Dr. Reginald Coopwood, President and CEO of Regional One Health and Greg Duckett, Chief Legal Counsel and Sr. Vice President of Baptist Memorial Health Care to offer their ‘birds eye view’ of the local health environment.
