Law school teaches us how to analyze legal risk, but very few lawyers are ever taught how to analyze financial risk. Yet the financial decisions we make can have a lasting impact on our careers, our families, and our overall well-being. According to PwC’s 2026 Employee Financial Wellness Survey, 57% of employees identified finances as their greatest life stressor, ranking above work, health, and relationships. For a profession already known for high levels of stress and burnout, financial wellness is more than a personal issue. It is an important part of building a sustainable and fulfilling legal career.

Whether you’re managing student loans, thinking about buying a home, planning for retirement, or simply trying to make more confident financial decisions, this session is for you.

Drawing from her experience as a tax attorney, accountant, financial educator, and former Big Law attorney, Brooke Benjamin Kelley, Esq., LL.M. will introduce a practical financial decision-making framework designed specifically for lawyers. Participants will leave with practical strategies they can begin implementing immediately, along with a framework for evaluating financial decisions at every stage of their legal careers. The goal is not simply to build wealth. It is to make intentional financial decisions that reduce financial stress, create greater flexibility, and help you afford the life you want.
