VLS EVENT! Tomorrow! November 18th at 4:00PM in Wade: Judge Anderson (Veterans’ Court) [Chic-Fil-A and Swag]

Did you know that there’s a court in Memphis especially for Veterans?

We are excited to announce that Veterans Law Society has secured Judge Bill Anderson for an in-person event next Thursday, November 18th at 4:00 P.M. in Wade Auditorium! We will host a Veterans’ Day Celebration and have the unique opportunity to hear from Judge Bill Anderson about the Veterans Court Program within the Shelby County Criminal Justice System.

This event is open to all Memphis Law students, staff, and faculty.

There will be Chic-Fil-A, free VLS swag (particularly nice swag), and free non-alcoholic beverages.

This is a great opportunity to come learn more about issues and processes unique to Veterans in the Memphis area. We will also discuss some upcoming potential pro bono opportunities.
