VITA TAX PROGRAM (Pro Bono Opportunity)

Students,

 If you are interested in volunteering with the VITA tax program in order to receive your tax certificate or earn pro bono hours, please send me a quick email at jjrberts@memphis.edu to notify me of your interest. You can learn more about the program and the numerous volunteer roles that are needed at the following link.

 All participants who wish to prepare taxes must pass a certification exam over the winter break in order to participate. I know it sounds hard but trust me you can do it! I will provide more information about the examination process in the near future, but in the meantime you can check out the Volunteer Assistor’s Test here.

 Lastly, congrats on finishing the semester. Take some time off and enjoy your break. You deserve it!
