U of M Institute on Disability Seeks Graduate Assistants

The University of Memphis Institute on Disability (UMID) is seeking Graduate Assistants starting this semester.

UMID is a diverse team of professionals dedicated to researching, developing, and implementing person-centered programs to maximize education, social, employment, and financial outcomes for adults with disabilities. Join us in creating a more inclusive future!

Graduate Assistants gain valuable research and academic writing experience crafting innovative program and policy solutions for adults with disabilities using their knowledge set of the law to assist the office. 

  • To apply, one must:
    • Hold a bachelor’s degree, seeking a graduate degree
    • Work up to 20 hours a week
  • Includes:
    • Monthly stipend OR money towards tuition for up to 9 hours coursework during Fall/Spring semesters and up to 3 hours during Summer semesters
