Deadline Extended! – Rising 2L Diagnostic (Class of 2024)

Class of 2024:
The 2L Diagnostic has been extended to Sunday, June 26. This is a tool that will support your continued academic success, provide you with additional individualized assessment, and assist the law school in determining the resources and programs we may offer your class in anticipation of the bar exam. However, to do so effectively, we need your help.
Each person that completes the diagnostic will be entered into a drawing for one (1) $100 Loflin Yard gift card and one of three (1 of 3) $50 bookstore gift cards.
The 2L diagnostic will test each participating student’s knowledge and skill through a series of multiple-choice questions in Torts, Contracts, Real Property, Civil Procedure, and Criminal Law.
The diagnostic takes approximately 2 hours to complete and includes 80 MBE-style questions across all five subjects (16 questions per subject). The topic breakdown within each subject is designed to be similar to the topic coverage on the Multistate Bar Examination.
As a participating student, you will receive a personalized report detailing your performance on the diagnostic, including individualized recommendations for where to focus your attention and studies to improve your academic performance and bar success. You will also receive a score that is relative to your peers.
You will receive an email directly from Kaplan with instructions for completing the diagnostic. Please complete the diagnostic to the best of your abilities without reference to any materials. You now have from now through Sunday, June 26 to complete and submit your diagnostic.
Please check your email for an email from Kaplan. It may be in your junk email. If you haven’t received an email, please email Professor DeShun Harris at
