Reminder – Professor Walker’s Lunch Talk on Reining in the Administrative State: Can Congress Respond? is tomorrow at noon in Room 226

This your reminder to join the Federalist Society tomorrow at noon, in room 226, for a lunch talk with Professor Christopher Walker from the University of Michigan. His talk will be based on his 2024 essay entitled Congress and the Shifting Sands of Administrative Law (available at this link – https://wclr.commonwealthlaw.widener.edu/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/congress-and-the-shifting-sands-in-administrative-law-christopher-j.-walker.pdf).

The talk will focus on the Supreme Court’s seeming anti-administrative turn through lens of an increasingly powerful Executive and a feeble Congress. It will also propose some solutions Congress can take to regain its power.

This is a great opportunity to hear from a nationally-recognized expert in Administrative Law, hear new ideas, and have your ideas challenged. Refreshments from Chipotle will be provided.
