Minnesota public defenders are a state wide public defense agency undergoing a significant expansion in our staff with a recent 100 million dollar infusion. We will have 100 new attorney positions to hire and nearly 40 vacancies throughout the state of Minnesota. We offer industry-leading wages, $88,000 to $158,000, excellent public sector healthcare coverage, countless days of leave time, and 12 weeks of paid parental leave with a strong training and mentoring program. We are an organization focused on transformative justice seeking to improve the lives of those who have fared the worst, including our Indigenous and African American neighbors.
