2Ls: U of M seeks Intellectual Property Graduate Assistant, 10 hours a week
The University of Memphis Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) seeks a rising 2L to serve as a graduate assistant and assist the OTT Director in various OTT activities related to IP & Licensure.
Below is additional information concerning job responsibilities for the applicants to consider:
- Provide support to OTT Director with certain activities required by the Tennessee Technology Advancement Consortium (TTAC)
- Provide support to OTT Director with various activities related to intellectual property (IP) protection and technology transfer including invention disclosure, patent application, patent prosecution, correspondence with IP law firms, docketing, managing database, reporting, etc.
- Provide support to OTT Director with various activities related to technology/IP marketing for licensing or commercialization purposes.
- Other activities as assigned
Compensation $15 – $18/hr (10 hrs/wk)
Anticipated start date: July 1, 2024 Anticipated end date: June 30, 2026
