updated info & instructions re: READ THIS!! INFO ABOUT EXAM 4 AND YOUR COMPUTER

READ THIS ENTIRE BLOG POST!!

Do NOT update your laptop computers with the Fall 2018 Mac/Windows Updates. EXAM4 SOFTWARE WILL NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH THESE UPDATES in time for mid-terms and final exams.

Below is the official message from IT:

Exam4 has advised that its software will not be compatible with these updates in time for our mid-term exams and final exams.  If you update your operating systems, Exam4 will not work on your computer.  These types of updates cannot be undone.  Accordingly, you should not update your operating systems or purchase computers with the updated operating systems.

If you need help with turning off automatic updates please contact IT at lawit@memphis.edu or go by the IT office, room 209.

Here are details on how to disable updated for Mac. Do not update the new MacOS release 10.14 called “Mojave”.
