Professor Kiel’s Winter Break Book Club
The 5th edition of the Winter Break Book Club will utilize Linda Hirshman’s book “Sisters in Law: How Sandra Day O’Connor and Ruth Bader Ginsburg Went to the Supreme Court and Changed the World,” a co-biography of the nation’s first two female Supreme Court justices. Participating students will read the book (perhaps over winter break) and gather at a to-be-determined time during the spring semester for discussion and fellowship. Interested students should message Professor Kiel (dkiel@memphis.edu) – a raffle among students who respond by December 15 will be drawn to receive one of two free copies of the book.
