Pro Bono Opportunity with CLC!

The CLC seeks volunteers, including those who would be willing to be student-licensed attorneys, to work under the supervision of the attorneys in the CLC’s Immigrant Justice Program to assist clients with their family- and humanitarian-based legal needs.  Students will gain skills in interviewing clients, completing forms for United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, gathering evidence, and working in a nonprofit law firm setting.  Students will work on a variety of forms of legal relief, including visas for victims of violent crimes, green cards, work permits, petitions to bring foreign relatives to the United States, petitions for asylum, and more.  This is a unique opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in a specialized area of law.  We are conveniently located across the street from the University of Memphis Law School.
