Pro Bono Opportunity

For the past few years, the University of Memphis has partnered with Rhodes College in providing a venue for activities related to the National Intercollegiate Mock Trial Tournament. Prospective law students from around the country participate in this tournament. If you are interested in helping judge one or more of the rounds of the competition, please contact Mrs. Barbara Pohlmann, Tournament Coordinator. A list of the judging opportunities are listed below as is the tournament coordinator’s contact information. The events will take place Friday, March 17th through Sunday, March 19th, 2017 at the Shelby County Courthouse. The tournament needs your help judging and if you volunteer your time, you can receive Pro Bono Credit! The details are as follows:

Round 1:              March 17, 2017 (Friday)

                                Judges’ Meeting for Round 1 begins at 3:15pm

Round 1 begins at 4:00pm                                   

 Round 2:              March 18, 2017 (Saturday)

                                Judges’ Meeting for Round 2 begins at 8:45am

Round 2 begins at 9:30am                                   

                                (Lunch provided)

Round 3:              March 18, 2017 (Saturday)

Judges’ Meeting for Round 3 begins at 1:45pm

Round 3 begins at 2:30pm                                  

Round 4:              March 19, 2017 (Sunday)

Judges’ Meeting for Round 4 begins at 8:45am

Round 4 begins at 9:30am
