Poll Watchers Needed

The Equity Alliance is implementing a non-partisan Election Protection Program, and they’re looking for volunteers from Memphis Law to work the polls in Shelby and Madison Counties.

Web trainings are available for those who sign up, and Alandis Brassel will be in Memphis on Monday training at Clayborn Temple.

You can sign up here  and complete the Volunteer form.

Once the form is received, we’ll reply with training materials, a volunteer toolkit, and a poll assignment.

Please let me know if you have any questions. Feel free to pass along my email address to people who have questions as well. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks!

About The Equity Alliance

Launched in January 2017, the mission of The Equity Alliance is to proactively advocate for African Americans and other communities of color to have a fair and just opportunity at realizing the American dream. We are a Nashville-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization that seeks to equip citizens with tools and strategies to engage in the civic process and empower them to take action on issues affecting their daily lives. The Equity Alliance was founded to get more people of color active in the political process and to increase civic participation as a means to achieving social and economic justice for communities of color.
