Paid Summer Internships with the Department of Labor
The U.S. Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor has an upcoming paid summer internship that we would like to share with University of Memphis students:
https://www.usajobs.gov/job/626964800 (National)
https://www.usajobs.gov/job/626965700 (Regional)
The announcements are open until 11:59pm EST on 01/03/2022.
Students interested in working in Nashville should use the “Regional” link. Those interested in working in Washington D.C. should use the “National” link. It may not be completely obvious, but we in Nashville are in the “Atlanta region,” but students can apply to work in any regional office from that link. One of the attorneys in the Nashville office is a Memphis Law Grad.
If any student has any question about the position or the Office of the Solicitor, in general, please send it my way.
This is going to be a fantastic opportunity for a student interested in regulatory work (OSHA, MSHA, FLSA, primarily), government work or litigation, generally. We are excited to be able to offer it on a paid basis, I think, for the first time.
