NASHVILLE BAR ASSOCIATION DOMALI BOOKER 1L MINORITY JOB FAIR
The Nashville Bar Association’s 2023 Damali Booker 1L Minority Job Fair will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to the Job Fair, there will be a reception for all candidates, participating employers & members of the Nashville Bar on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at the law firm of Butler Snow, 150 Third Ave, South, Suite 1600, Nashville, TN 37201.
We would greatly appreciate your assistance with our effort to recruit aspiring diverse attorneys who desire to pursue a summer clerkship and professional career in Nashville. You can help us by providing each interested candidate with the following information: (1) 2023 Job Fair Timeline; (2) Student Registration Form; and (3) Student Interview Rankings Form (forms available in the career services office or by emailing lawcareerservices@memphis.edu). These attachments will be located on our website as well – nashvillebar.org/1L Job Fair.
Regarding the completion of the Student Employer Rankings form, a list of participating employers will be posted on the NBA website in mid-December for the students to review; nashvillebar.org/1LJobFair.
Interested students should return the following documents: (1) Student Registration form; (2) Student Interview Rankings form; (3) Cover Letter (explaining the interest or connection to practicing law in Nashville); (4) Current Resume; (5) Short Writing Sample; and (6) both undergraduate & law school transcripts (unofficial transcripts are accepted). These materials should be emailed to traci.hollandsworth@nashvillebar.org, no later than January 6, 2023.

Many area employers begin their recruiting process well before they conduct on-campus interviews, and many others do not interview at law schools. Therefore, it is extremely important that the students adhere to the scheduling deadlines to be considered for the program.
