Working on your Bar application? Listen up!
If you are not working on your the Tennessee Bar application for the July Bar exam, you should be. Because, although the application is not due May 20, the Director of the TN Board of Law Examiners, Lisa Perlen explained at the 3L Bar meeting, an applicant who wants feedback/updates on their application should have everything submitted BEFORE May 1.
Want to cross something off your to-do list? Print and have the Law Degree Verification form notarized, then turn it into the Law Registrar, Cheryl Edwards [Room 264].
Need a notary? Ms. Edwards can notarize the form. If Ms. Edwards is not available, Ms. Sandy Love in the clinic is also a notary, but you should email her for an appointment.
Planning to apply for Non-Standard Testing Accommodations? You should start early by reviewing the requirements.
Not sitting for the Tennessee Bar exam? Please check your state’s Bar Examiners website for deadlines and requirements. No matter the state, this type of form or a letter will be sent from the Law Registrar’s office verifying your degree.
