IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM DEAN MULROY RE: FALL 2016 SEMINARS

FROM DEAN MULROY:

Students:  The recently announced retirement of a faculty member has required that courses be reassigned among the remaining faculty.  As a result, Prof. Janet Goode will be teaching Criminal Procedure this fall instead of the Poverty Law Seminar. To ensure that there are sufficient seminar slots this fall, Dean Letsou will be offering a Corporate Law Seminar to replace the Poverty Law Seminar.

We realize this will affect  the rankings you have made regarding seminar preferences.  We will redo the limited enrollment registration process for seminars.  If you previously submitted a Survey, you will need to re-submit it so you can re-rank your preferences among the new lineup of seminars for Fall 2016:  Reproductive Rights/Family Law (Prof. Black); Tennessee Constitutional Law (Prof. Smith); and Corporate Law (Prof. Letsou).

Ms. Edwards will post a new link to the Survey to reflect the changes.  If you have interest in taking a seminar this fall, please complete it by 8 a.m. this Monday, March 28. We will then inform you of the results of the seminar lottery by Wednesday morning, so you can take this information into account before registering for classes the following week.  Please note that this does NOT affect the preference surveys regarding Skills courses.  You do NOT need to resubmit that survey.

We apologize for the inconvenience.
