February 2023 Bar Support

Individual Meetings

Individual meetings are an opportunity for Memphis Law bar takers to discuss study schedules, receive written feedback, to discuss individualized preparation strategies, and to ask substantive questions.

Students may make an appointment and same-day meetings are available. Meetings are available in person, via Zoom, or by phone. Email Professor DeShun Harris at d.harris@memphis.edu or use the link to schedule an appointment. You may also call or text 901-308-5946.

Four-Part Bar Support Series (via Zoom)

Beginning Tuesday, January 3 through January 24 there will be a 75-minute workshop each Tuesday featuring a component of the bar exam. The workshops are designed for you to gather information during your study period that will enhance your preparation for the bar exam from week to week. It’s also an opportunity for you to gather with your peers during a time that can feel isolating. These sessions will be come-and-go events where the bar preparation director, professors, and others may be in attendance.

Each week an email will be sent providing an overview of what the session that week will feature and any guest lecturers.

Please check your email for Zoom information or email Professor Harris.

Simulated Bar Exam (PMBR – January 27-29)

We are offering free PMBR to all first-time February takers. If you are interested (and have not already received access to the course), please email me your name, preferred email, and mailing address. There will be an in-person simulated exam which will include 200 MBE questions on Friday, January 27 (with review sessions occurring on January 28 & 29).
