The FDIC Honors Attorney Program is a highly competitive, prestigious 2-year entry-level professional development program.  This program is available to current law school students graduating between December 2025 and June 2026, full-time graduate students in the final year of study that began immediately following law school, or recent law graduates completing a judicial clerkship the summer of 2026.  This program is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the FDIC’s role in our financial system and an opportunity for public service.  In addition, as innovative and transformative technologies are rapidly altering the financial industry, Honors Attorneys are exposed to valuable and stimulating areas of law atypical to most government practice.

The Honors Attorney Program currently has two vacancy announcements on USAJOBS that are open until April 10, 2026:

  • Law Clerk – Open to individuals who are not yet admitted to the bar upon joining the FDIC.
