Exam Procedures for Unreasonable Hardships, Illness, or Emergencies During Exams
We know that this is an unprecedented time, and we understand that you may be facing unique challenges and uncertainties as the final exam period begins. To that end, we want to call your attention to Academic Regulation 10.6 (Deferrals or Delays in Taking Scheduled Examinations; Unreasonable Hardship) and Academic Regulation 10.9 (Illnesses or Emergencies Arising During an Examination) and encourage you to reach out to us. Specifically:
- If a situation arises before an exam that will cause you to be unable to take or complete an exam within the established parameters, contact Associate Dean Jodi Wilson, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs Meredith Aden, or Law Registrar Cheryl Edwards as soon as feasible after the situation arises.
- If a situation arises during an exam that will cause you to be unable to complete the exam within the established parameters, contact Associate Dean Jodi Wilson, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs Meredith Aden, or Law Registrar Cheryl Edwards as soon as feasible after the situation arises.
- If you have questions about how these regulations would apply in certain circumstances or anticipate a possible situation, please contact Associate Dean Jodi Wilson, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs Meredith Aden, or Law Registrar Cheryl Edwards so that we can answer your questions and establish a proactive plan to deal with the situation should it arise.
