Book Drive to Benefit Literacy Mid-South
The book drive will support Literacy Midsouth, which is an organization that began with a call to help low-literacy adults gain the reading skills needed to become better individuals, parents, employees, and citizens. Today, in addition to continuing its work with adult and student readers, Literacy Mid-South serves as a convener and core collaborator for the broad community of literacy-focused organizations in the region.
There are several ways that you can support the book drive:
- You can make a donation to Literacy Mid-south directly on their webpage. Please put “Leo Bearman Chapter American Inns of Court” in the comments section for monetary donations. - You can purchase books online at Novel Bookstore. The bookstore will hold the donated items until the end of the drive and deliver them to Literacy Midsouth for us. A 20% discount will be applied to all purchases at Novel Bookstore.
