Two Representatives Needed for The Graduate Student Assembly!

The Graduate Student Assembly is in need of two representatives from the law school. If you are interested please email Stephanie Hope (shope1@memphis.edu). The description for the role is shown below:

Representatives (Graduate Student Assembly):

·         Two representatives and two assistant representatives from each college (At least one must attend all meetings)

·         Each college has one vote in the Graduate Student Assembly

·         If not elected at the first meeting of the academic year, advisors from the colleges will make a recommendation

·         Presided over by the Vice-President of the GSA

·         Has power to replace any officers within the GSA Executive Branch should those offices become vacant during the academic year

·         A quorum of one-fourth of members is required to conduct business

·         May issue a written proxy to another member if he/she cannot attend a meeting (proxy must be announced to the President and the             Parliamentarian before the meeting begins)
