Advanced Competition Final Round 11/3 at 3PM!

The Advanced Moot Court Competition will come to a close tomorrow, November 3rd, at 3PM. Please come join your classmates in cheering on this year’s finalists! The final two teams will be arguing the constitutional implications of both state cyberbullying statutes and police searches of electronic devices. Our distinguished panel this year will consist of Tennessee Supreme Court Justice Holly Kirby, Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals Judge Ross Dyer, Division 8 Circuit Court Judge Robert Weiss, and our very own Dean Peter Letsou.

This event is open to all classes. If you wish to attend, then please be seated in the Historic Courtroom by 2:50PM tomorrow afternoon.

To our first-year students especially, this event is an excellent demonstration of what to expect in your Freshman competition. The Moot Court Board strongly encourages you to attend.
