3Ls: Shelby County Circuit Court seeks Summer Law Clerk

Shelby County Circuit Court Division III seeks a 3L to serve as a summer law clerk to assist Judge Robert Childers, who will temporarily fill the vacancy left by Judge Valerie Smith’s appointment to the Tennessee Court of Appeals. The law clerk will help with the preparation of the motion docket and review briefs on Thursday, before motions are heard on Friday.

Compensation: $18.00 per hour.  Position only open until filled.

Anticipated start date: July 7, 2025

Anticipated end date: September 30 at the latest, but may end in August
