3Ls: Post Graduate Judicial Clerkship Opening (Memphis)

The Honorable Samuel H. Mays, Jr., of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee at Memphis, is seeking two (2) law clerks for the 2017-2018 term.  Applications are accepted from now until  Apr 15, 2017.  The term will start on August 10, 2017.  While Judge Mays prefers an applicant who has participated in law review or a law journal, there is no grade point or class standing requirement.  Applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, writing sample, two letters of recommendation, a law school transcript, and an undergraduate transcript.  While paper applications are accepted, the preferred application method is online, via OSCAR: https://oscar.uscourts.gov/
