3Ls – PMBR on Jan. 24-26

PMBR PROGRAM DETAILS

WHEN:  Friday-Sunday, January 24-26

Plan for full days, likely 9 to 4:30 with a lunch break (lunch provided)

WHERE:  Law School – Wade

WHAT:  To aid you in your preparation for the bar exam, each student enrolled in the Bar Preparation course in Spring 2025 will have PMBR as a required part of the Bar Exam Preparation course.  The 3-day program will include:

Day 1 – 200-question MBE Simulation

Day 2 – Review with live instructor

Day 3 – Review with live instructor

The program is designed to help students identify strengths and weaknesses, begin developing endurance, and provide an opportunity for students to focus on the nuances while gaining tactical and substantive insight using PMBR’s Question-Based Review. Students do not need to do anything to prepare for the PMBR program.

On Day 1, students will complete a full-length, in-person MBE that targets the “highest yield” sections of the bar exam using a combination of questions that: 1) mimic the actual exam in content depth, writing style, tone, and difficulty and 2) are designed to be outstanding teaching tools.  Research shows that more preparation through practice questions is a valuable tool for students as they prepare for the bar exam.  On Day 2 and Day 3, a PMBR lecturer will conduct a live question-based review.  You’ll also receive additional resources for later use, like the PMBR Redbook, which has over 650 practice questions and explanations.
