3/14 Pro Bono Opportunity: “Wills for Heroes”

Wills for Heroes – The TBA YLD is sponsoring Wills for Heroes on Sat., March 14 at the Benjamin L. Hooks Central Library. Through this program, which was developed after the 9/11 tragedy, volunteer attorneys draft free wills, powers of attorney, and advanced directives for first responders and their spouses.  You do not have to be an estate planning expert in order to participate; only simple estates are handled.  This is a fantastic way to say “Thank you” to the men and women who risk their lives every day to help keep our families safe.  There will be two shifts: 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. If you are interested in assisting, please contact the TBA’s District Representative Chasity S.
