2Ls and 3Ls, WANT TO TRY A MURDER CASE?

Come out and learn about this year’s In-School Mock Trial Competition on January 20, 2015 at noon in the Small Courtroom! The Competition is open to current 2L’s and 3L’s and will feature a murder case. The interest meeting will outline the Competition’s writing and oral requirements while also serving as a Q&A session. Be sure to remember the Mock Trial Competition is the last opportunity for 2L’s interested in becoming a member of the Moot Court Board to meet the requirements for applying to the Board in late February, early March.

This year, the In-School Mock Trial Competition will offer competitors a mini workshop before the oral rounds begin. Also, the length of the rounds have been shortened and will be consistent with trial advocacy classes offered.

Interested students are encouraged to join the TWEN page, Mock Trial Competition 2015, before the interest meeting. The problem and competition rules are located on the TWEN page. Contact Aurelia Patterson at vpttrson@memphis.edu with any questions.
