2Ls & 3Ls: Pro Bono Opportunity

2Ls & 3Ls:

Need pro bono hours?  The Memphis Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee has a pro bono project and needs your help.  The committee would like to petition the Tennessee Supreme Court to require a Bridge-the-Gap Program for new admittees to the bar.  Bridge-the-Gap programs are typically seminars that helps new attorneys get acclimated to the state’s court system.

The volunteer will be guided by David Cook, a private attorney with the Hardison law firm, along with other attorneys on the Professionalism Committee.  This project will most likely satisfy all your pro bono hours.  The first student to email Callie Caldwell at callie.caldwell@memphis.edu will get the opportunity.
