1LS: WATCH SEMI-FINAL ROUND OF ADVANCED MOOT COURT COMPETITION

This year, 1Ls are welcome to attend the Semi-Final Rounds of the Advanced Moot Court Competition. 1Ls are invited to come get a glimpse into the world of Moot Court, experience oral advocacy in real-time, and hear arguments about (1) whether the Fourth Amendment allows searches incident to arrest of a vehicle that operates as a home and (2) whether the amended Gun Control Act of 1968, which prohibits firearm possession by undocumented immigrants, violates the Second Amendment.

The Primary Semi-Final Round, which will have the only two undefeated teams left, is Wednesday, November 13 at 6:00 pm in the Small Courtroom. Please be on time if you plan on attending this round. Do not enter once the door to the courtroom is closed.

We strongly encourage 1Ls to come see how exciting Moot Court can be! While 2Ls and 3Ls are not invited to this round, the law school community as a whole is invited to the Final Round, which we will announce at a later date.
