1L’s Interested in Moot Court

Attention 1Ls!

Do you want to get an idea of what a moot court competition is like? Volunteer as a bailiff for the 2016 Advanced Moot Court Competition! The competition runs from Wednesday, October 19th through Friday, November 4th. The competing 2L and 3L teams need bailiffs in each round, and it is excellent opportunity to learn more about moot court without the pressure of competing.

If you would like to volunteer, go online and add the Advanced Moot Court Competition page on TWEN. Click “Sign-Up Sheets,” and enter your information on the sheet titled “2016 Advanced Competition Bailiffs.” If a team would like to request your assistance during the competition, they will e-mail you. If you are not available to bailiff at their requested time, you are under no obligation to do so. This is strictly a volunteer opportunity.

If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail Associate Justice Elizabeth Booker Houston at ebookerbooker2012@gmail.com.

We hope you will be a part of the experience!
