1L Legal Analysis Class

Dear 1Ls,

All 1Ls should enroll in the Legal Analysis class now scheduled for Tuesdays this spring from 2:30 – 3:45 in Wade Auditorium.  As a part of our continuing commitment to your success on the bar exam, the class will be focused on introducing you to the three components of the bar examination:  The Multistate Bar Exam (MBE), the Multistate Essay Exam (MEE), and the Multistate Performance Test (MPT).  The Legal Analysis class will provide exposure to bar-style questions in the context of the material you are already studying for your 1L courses. Thus, in addition to increasing your exposure to the bar exam, some sessions may serve as a narrow review of concepts in some of your 1L classes.  Professor DeShun Harris, Director of Bar Preparation, will teach the introductory sessions on the MBE, MEE, and MPT.  Other faculty will teach MBE and MEE sessions with questions focused on material you are covering in your 1L classes.  We will post a syllabus for the course at the beginning of the semester in January.

The law school will be closed after tomorrow, December 20, through the new year.  We will be available beginning in January to answer any questions you may have about the course.

 Thanks,

Dean Aden
