1L Job Application Deadlines
The following are deadlines for 1Ls to apply for upcoming On Campus Interviews (OCI) and Resume Collects (this just means that the employer is collecting application materials and does not plan on OCI at this time).
January 24: Sherrard Roe Voigt & Harbinson, PLC, seeks a summer associate(paid) in NASHVILLE, TN office. Hiring criteria are class rank of Top 20% and a demonstrated interest in the Nashville market. Apply via Symplicity “SPRING 2019 OCI (Jan 28 – Feb 1).” Interviews will be held on campus on February 1.
January 27: Butler Snow seeks summer associates (paid) in its MEMPHIS and NASHVILLE office. Hiring criteria is Top 20%. Apply via Symplicity “SPRING 2019 OCI (Feb 1-8).” Interviews will be held on campus on February 8.
February 3: Disability Rights Tennessee seeks and unpaid intern for its NASHVILLE office. Interns would receive Pro Bono credit from Memphis Law, or could seek outside funding or academic credit (must be pre-approved). On campus interviews will be held on February 13, the day of the Public Interest Fair. Apply via Symplicity “SPRING 2019 OCI (Feb 11-15).”
February 3: The Tennessee Department of Children’s Services seeks unpaid interns for its offices STATEWIDE. Interns would receive Pro Bono credit from Memphis Law, or could seek outside funding or academic credit (must be pre-approved). On campus interviews will be held on February 13, the day of the Public Interest Fair. Apply via Symplicity “SPRING 2019 OCI (Feb 11-15).”
February 7: Miller Martin seeks a paid summer associate for its CHATTANOOGA office. Apply via Symplicity OCI “SPRING 2019 MILLER MARTIN (Chattanooga) Resume Collect.”
Febuary 10: Burr Forman LLP seeks paid summer associates for its offices in JACKSON, MS; BIRMINGHAM, AL; and MOBILE, AL. Hiring criteria, class rank in the Top 15%. Apply via Symplicity OCI “SPRING 2019 OCI: BURR FORMAN (AL & MS locations) Resume Collect.”
February 15: Bradley Arant Boult Cummings, LLP seeks summer associates (paid) for its office in NASHVILLE, TN; JACKSON, MS; BIRMINGHAM, AL and HUNTSVILLE, AL. A minimum of 6 weeks is required in the first half of the summer, and a class rank of Top 10%. Apply via Symplicity in the Job Postings section, Post #2870.
